The Parker Recreation Department will be hosting a week-long Customer Appreciation celebration March 9-14 with free events at the Parker Recreation Center and Parker Fieldhouse.
Some of the exciting events will include:
Health Screenings – Monday, March 9, 8 a.m.-noon – Recreation Center
Recreation Decathlon – Tuesday, March 10, 6 p.m. – Fieldhouse
FREE! Join us for our inaugural Recreation Decathlon at the Parker Fieldhouse. Pair up with a teammate and compete in 10 different events. Events include football agility course, obstacle course, basketball skills challenge, one-mile cycle challenge, one-mile relay run, timed flex arm hang, standing long/vertical jump, relay race, climbing wall and mind game. Participate in the all male, female or coed divisions. Champions of each division will receive t-shirt and other prizes! Register online at www.ParkerRec.com.
Bring a Guest Day – Wednesday, March 11 – Recreation Center and Fieldhouse
WiiT Tournament – Wednesday, March 11, 6 p.m. – Recreation Center – Ages 6 and up
FREE! Battle others on the Nintendo WiiTM in this interactive video game tournament. This competition will involve multiple games requiring different skills. Winners will be determined by an accumulated score. Actual games will be announced the day of the tournament. Register online at www.ParkerRec.com.
Wellness Demonstrations – Thursday, March 12 – Recreation Center
Dodgeball Tournament – Friday, March 13, 6 p.m. – Fieldhouse – Ages 18 and up
FREE! If you’re looking for an event that requires enthusiasm, teamwork and strategy then join us for our 2nd annual Adult Dodgeball Tournament at the Parker Fieldhouse. Day Camp Open House – Saturday, March 14, noon-3 p.m. – Fieldhouse
Fieldhouse Finale – Saturday, March 14, 5-9 p.m. – Wrap up Customer Appreciation Week with fun for the whole family! Join us for skate night, free climbing wall, games, crafts, bounce house, discounted concessions, raffles and more.
