Town of Parker Celebrates 25 Years with Free Festivities at O’Brien Park!

Join the Town of Parker on Saturday, May 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to celebrate the Town’s 25th Anniversary of incorporation! To mark this momentous occasion, we’re having a free “Old Fashioned Parker Hoedown” in downtown O’Brien Park!

The day will be filled with free festivities for all ages. Kids will enjoy bouncing in the pony-themed bounce house, visiting with animals at the petting zoo, taking a pony ride, listening to a historic storyteller, getting their face painted, helping to paint an art mural and more!
Parents can dance to live music while the kids play or enjoy a historic walking tour of downtown Parker. Festive western Town of Parker bandanas and Frisbees will be given out to participants on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Hotdogs, hamburgers and other treats will be available from vendors for a small charge and Parker’s own Olde Timer Popcorn Truck will be on hand selling specialty snacks!

Help us celebrate the reopening of the newly renovated O’Brien Park at Noon and kick off the dedication of our Public Art Piece and the Bricks to Art Plaza at 1 p.m.

This is our opportunity to say thank you to all of our residents for choosing to live in our wonderful town! Thank you for being a part of our community and for helping make Parker what it is today.

This event is sponsored in part by $35 Million Cash Spectacular, the new game from the Colorado Lottery. The Parker Recreation Department reminds Parker residents that when they play $35 Million Cash Spectacular, they keep Parker parks and recreation facilities spectacular, too, because proceeds from the Lottery are returned to our own community.
