Parker’s Historic Hood House Needs Your Help
The Town of Parker has stepped in to save the historic Hood House from demolition and has moved it to a temporary site until the final location and use is determined. This historic structure is in immediate need of a new roof and the Town is sending out a ‘call to arms’ for qualified roofers and/or cash donations to assist with this project. Because of its current condition, we will need to move right away on this project. Ultimately, the house will need a complete renovation.
If you are interested in participating, or would like to make a cash donation, please contact Susan Pacek, Comprehensive Planning Manager at 303.805.3337 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Built in 1911, the Hood House is one of the few remaining historic homes in the Town Parker and one of the only two that escaped damage during the disastrous flood of 1912.
