If you like to be scared, the “Stable of Terror” haunted house is the place to come for a good fright. A kid-friendly version will be available for guests under seven. Not so scary, but equally fun, children can meet costumed hosts that take them through the Pumpkin Patch, the Spiders’ Web, a Haunted Forest and the Groaning Graveyard. Last year the Parker Arts Council (PAC) and local elementary, middle and high school students put in over 600 volunteer hours to make the Stable of Terror a success. “It’s as much fun to build and be an actor in the event, as it is to find the courage to enter the ‘Stable of Terror’!” states the PAC Web site. The Stable of Terror will be open during with Horses on Oct. 20 as well as Friday, Oct. 26 and Saturday, Oct. 27 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Admission on these extra dates will be $7. The Stable of Terror is always looking for volunteers to work this event. Visit www.parkerartscouncil.org or call for more information.
