5280 Restaurant Reviews

Come and share which restaurants you visited for 5280 week and tell everyone if you will go back again for full price or wait until next year?

Mosiac

Mosiac

My husband and I ate at Mosaic and really enjoyed ourselves.  The decor is really unique, the “mosaic” tile applications throughout the restaurant, the cool glass fireplace in the center of the room, the aquarium down to the European style ladies room were all very 1st class.  I had the Caesar salad, chicken and he had the steak and tomato basil soup.   We both preferred the chicken dish and the soup.  The vegetarian entree looked great as it passed by our table.  The server was very attentive and fun to interact with. (We prefer personality in the waitstaff).  We will be back!

Yia Yias, Restaurant,

Yia Yia's, Restaurant,

The second restaurant was Yia Yia’s.  We went with friends and were able to sampe 3 different dishes, side dishes and desserts.  The steak was melt in your mouth tender and full of flavor, the sea bass was the best our friend had ever had and two of us had the lamb chops in a basalmic glaze.. YUM!  We shared a bottle of Pino Noir. We all got different desserts as well.. Bread pudding – Wonderful, Creme Brule’, meh…. and a Dark Chocolate, ice cream, filo and raspberry sauce AMAZINGLY wonderful creation that I stole most of from my husband! The most exciting news we found out at this restaurant is that they have 5280 every Sunday evening.  With the beautiful patio overlooking a pond, we will definately be taking advantage of that this spring and summer.

Share you experiences with the rest of your 5280 friends!

  1. We went to Texas de Brazil on Sunday night for their extended 5280 week and we were EXTREMELY happy with our service, food and everything else.

Our waiter was very kind, prompt and patient with our party of 8 on a busy Sunday evening. Our food came quickly and often and the “salad” bar was amazing!

I don’t foresee us visiting too often unless we have coupons or another 5280 experience simple because of the regular cost, but I’d gladly travel to Northfield at Stapleton when we have a deal for that kind of a meal and service.

5-Star for our evening for sure!

  2. Is Texas de Brazil along the lines of Rodizio Grill?

  3. Paulette

We took advantage of 5280 Sunday night at Jing in The Landmark. The atmosphere is soothing…running water falls and candles. Leather furniture and modern art give it a very Art Deco feel. It was packed out, which drew us in also. While it’s billed as a Chinese fare, I would call it All-Asian fusion. We had the Sea Bass and the Thai Basil chicken. We started with sushi and finished with a gorgeous slice of Key Lime cheese cake. Everything was light moist and full of flavor. Portions were pleasant and presentation was everything.

  4. Yes, but about 10x better!

  5. Hey Paulette, thanks for that! I’ve never even heard of that place and your review makes me want to try it. Your’s too Spencer.. I like and my husband LOVES Rodizio, so we are going to have to check Texas De Brasil Out!

Went to Elways last night and the meal, service and atmosphere was wonderful! Place was packed, but no matter, the service was top notch. I would recommend the steak over the prime rib (we shared) , but both were good.

  7. My four brothers and our significant others went to Mel’s Bar & Grill over in Greenwood Village at Holly & Orchard. We had an amazing experience. Truly unbelievable food and service that was tops. Will go there again & again. A great time.

  8. Hey Al, I bet the waitresses didn’t know what happened to them with your big crew! Good job on leaving the link to your website! 😀
